MINOT, N.D. – The North Dakota State Fair is pleased to announce that the Family Motor Coach Association (FMCA) has selected Minot, ND for their 100th International Convention and RV Expo. The FMCA will return to the Magic City and the North Dakota State Fairgrounds August 14-17, 2019.  “FMCA has hosted conventions at the North Dakota State Fairgrounds three times in the past, most recently in 2005; so, this will be a long overdue return visit,” said FMCA events director Doug Uhlenbrock. “Minot offers a small-town feel with big-town amenities and attractions and will make a great destination for this special celebration of FMCA’s 100th convention.”

Members of FMCA will fill the fairgrounds with their motor coaches and RV’s during the 4-day event. While at the convention they will attend educational sessions, an RV expo and showcase, and enjoy various entertainment options. There will be a multi-million dollar economic impact to North Dakota from attendees from all over the United States and Canada. FMCA will have representatives in Minot from August 7th through August 20th.

A delegation from North Dakota will be traveling to their Convention in March 2019 to personally invite their attendees to North Dakota. Along with welcoming them to our great State, the purpose will be to provide information on additional attractions, destinations and events for their attendees to visit on their way to and from Minot. We hope to encourage them to extend their stay a few days longer and enjoy all that North Dakota has to offer the motor coach and RV traveler.
