Midwest Dairy’s Milkshakes and Moooore! Where Good Comes From
One of the highlights of many people’s summers is the North Dakota State Fair. And it’s true — the Milkshakes and Moooore Wagon owned by the dairy farmers of North Dakota is a favorite stop once they get there!
We’ve been located south of the Dairy Barn for many years, but a couple of years ago we doubled our capacity for making the vanilla, chocolate and strawberry shakes fair-goers know and love. We also sell plenty of hand-dipped ice cream cones, milk, yogurt and string cheese. It’s a great way to get a real, fresh and natural treat, or even to eat healthy while making your way around the grounds.
Why are we there? It’s simple. North Dakota dairy farmers produce “dairy goodness with pride,” and sharing it is what they do. You’ll see signs on and around the Wagon featuring a couple of these hard-working North Dakota farm families – Andrew and Jennifer Holle of Northern Lights Dairy in Mandan and the Alan Qual family of Qual Dairy in Lisbon.
You can meet North Dakota Dairy Princess Susan Hintz at the Milkshakes and Moooore Wagon on Thursday, July 24, from 1 to 4 p.m. We also recommend visiting the Dairy Barn between Wed., July 23, and the fair’s end, to see the dairy animals. It’s something of a ‘living classroom’ to learn about dairy.
Welcome to the North Dakota State Fair. The Milkshakes and Moooore Wagon is where good comes from!
