Once again, fans will be able to enjoy the thrills and chills of hot cars at the North Dakota State Fair on
Monday, July 21 with the Enduro Race and Tuesday, July 22 with the IMCA Modified and Hobby Stock Races. However, Heather Halverson, of Nodak Speedway is excited to announce a unique and special event that will be joining the Hobby Stock races this year. “This year, we will be featuring a new race during the Tuesday night races that will be known as the Soccer Mom Van Race,” says Heather.
If you are a lady with a need for speed and want to give your hand a try on the race track this race is for you! The soccer mom van race is open to women over the age of 18 that have never participated in a sanctioned race and are able to get their hands on a mini-van! Rules for participating vehicles can be found at www.racenodak.com or by calling 701-822-RACE (7223). If you happen to be more mild than wild at heart come out and cheer on your favorite mini-van. We will see you at the races!
Tickets for both nights of racing are available on the Grandstand Showpass which includes seven nights of entertainment. A limited number of day of show tickets will also be available for $20 each.
