This is the first year for the North Dakota State Fair’s Amateur Adult Cupcake Decorating Contest and we could not be more excited! The contest is for participants 14 and up, on July 26 at 2 PM (Following the Kids Cupcake Decorating Contest).
Contestants MUST be amateur bakers with no commercial baking involvement. They bake 6 cupcakes of the same flavor before the competition so they are ready to decorate at the fair! Given an hour, Contestants must create all of their cupcakes to the theme of “Great. Big. Fun.” making 100% edible decorations (with the exception of toothpicks, wire, supports, pillars, and non edible stamens for the creation of sugar flowers, etc.).
PREREGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. Contestants must submit all of the registration form and photo of previous cupcake decorating work by 5 PM on Friday, July 14, 2014.
