Kids cupcake decorating contest is one of the cutest contests at the fair! Held in the State Fair Building at 1 PM on Saturday, July 26, 2014 This contest is sure to be a real fun event to be a part of! Contestants are divided into divisions: 6 and under or 7 to 13 years old.
Contestants 6 and under will have 10 minutes to decorate the pre-baked cupcakes provided by Cash Wise Foods however they like! There will be supplies, and toppings such as candy and frosting provided by the fair for all the little decorators to use! Parents are allowed to stand next to their child and coach them, however no assistance is allowed to be given to the contestants.
The 7 to 13 age group gets a little more intense! the participants are given 15 minutes to decorate the pre-baked cupcakes provided by Cash Wise Foods to the theme of “What I Love at the North Dakota State Fair.” Contestants in this division are required to bring everything they will need to decorate their cupcake (frosting, icing, spatula, etc.) Same as the 6 and under division, parents are not allowed to assist their children in the decorating process.
