Check out these unique days at the North Dakota State Fair! 
UND SPORTS DAY– Experience UND Sports Day presented by Midco Sports Network! Stop by our tent to meet your favorite UND student-athletes and coaches, get autographs, and receive a voucher for a discounted UND Men’s Hockey ticket! As a bonus, Midco Sports Network will be handing out FREE UND T-Shirts (while supplies last) and other great prizes throughout the day.
SENIOR DAY – Sponsored by Trinity Health, Senior Day will feature half-price gate admission until 2pm for those over 65 as well as a “Fiesta” Party located in the Upper Atrium of the North Dakota State Fair Center from 10am-3pm on Thursday, July 24. Entertainment will include the Us Band, James Adams – Ventriloquist and a Mariachi Musician.
KX COOP DAY –Stop on down to the Fair for a delicious pancake breakfast on Wednesday, July 23 from 7:30-9:30am located north of Commercial II. Then, head over to the festival tent from 10am-4:00pm and visit with co-ops from across the state. There will also be a free ice cream social from 2-3:30pm. Marketplace for Kids, Bright Idea Showcase will return to the Fairgrounds on KX/Coop Day. Stop by the State Fair Center Upper Atrium from 9am-2pm to see the unique projects and inventions kids across North Dakota are creating.
MILITARY APPRECIATION DAY –Military members and their families will be honored Tuesday, July 22 with $1 off gate admission, NPRA Championship Bull Riding discounts, free carnival rides from 1-3pm and the always popular Beef Industry Military Appreciation Picnic, a free picnic sponsored by the ND Beef Commission, ND Stockmen’s Association and ND Cattlewomen. The picnic will be located north of Commercial II. Coupons are required for discounts and can be picked up at the Minot Chamber of Commerce.
XCEL ENERGY FAMILY DAY FESTIVAL – Bring the entire family to Xcel Energy Family Day on Tuesday, July 22 from 10am-4pm. There will be fun and educational activities as organizations will have displays and hands-on entertainment. The event will be focused on Powering Your Community – the energy to live your life and have fun! Special features include a bookmark creative corner and a fun energy efficient iPhone app, Bulb Blasters.
WATER DAY FESTIVAL O’ FUN – Join booth exhibitors on Thursday, July 24 from 10am-4pm. Take part in trivia games and prize drawings! Don’t miss out on Frost Fest featuring free sno-cones from 1-3pm. This event is sponsored by the North Dakota Water Coalition.
KMOT PRIDE OF DAKOTA FOOD DRIVE DAY – Experience Pride of Dakota Day on Monday, July 21 from 11am-5pm! Visit with entrepreneurs and purchase products made exclusively in North Dakota. A lunch is offered to all Fairgoers for only $1 from 11am-1pm under the tent. Lunch includes a hotdog, chips and a drink with all proceeds donated to FFA. As if that weren’t enough, don’t miss the Kuchen contest at 3pm! During this day non-perishable food items will also be collected for the North Dakota State Fair’s Food Drive. Collections will be received at all gates and donors will receive $1 off Gate Admission.
