Enjoying all of North Dakota State Fair’s Great. Big. Fun. is sure to work up an appetite! Fortunately as any seasoned Fairgoer could tell you, there is no shortage of 
delicious food on the midway and 2014 is no different. With over 40 food vendors and over one hundred different food items, there is sure to be something that appeals to every pallet. This year new food booths, The Cheese Sack and Tracy’s Idaho Taqueria have been added to the mix. Make sure to stop by these booths to gain your new Fair Food fix. At these booths you will find flavored cheese curds featuring everything from Cajun to Buffalo and Idaho nachos and baked potato tacos.
Back for the third year, the American Bank Center Food Frenzy contest will feature Fair culinary concoctions that will be available for purchase all nine days of the
Fair. Vendors taking part in the Food Frenzy will be judged by a panel of local celebrities. Their foods will be rated on appearance, originality, taste and creativity. The winners will receive giant ribbons and bragging rights for the year. Adventurous eaters can look forward to foods such as Bacon Kuchen, Pulled Pork Quesadillas and Polacos (Polish tacos).
