Looking for a fun summer internship where you can be part of North Dakota’s largest annual event! Look no further because the North Dakota State Fair has exactly what you are looking for! The North Dakota State Fair Center has two temporary, full-time positions available May – August.
The positions include:
Marketing Intern: The responsibilities of the position will include drafting news releases, statewide and Canadian caravans of
advertising materials, preparing content for website and blogs, assisting with publicity, coordinating social media initiatives, managing customer relations, organizing and coordinating special events, editing, proofreading and various clerical duties. Applicants must demonstrate excellent grammar and punctuation skills and be organized, detail orientated, and have the ability to work in a fast pace environment on multiple tasks. Candidates should be energetic and dedicated. Ideal candidates will be working towards a degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Public Relations or a related field.
Summer Office Assistant: Duties for this position include answering the phone, helping customers at the window, selling tickets, balancing cash drawer, auditing tickets, bank and mail runs, filing and other office duties. Must be computer savvy, mathematically inclined and have exceptional customer service skills.
