Join us for Terrific Tuesday, July 24 at the North Dakota State Fair for great deals and Great. Big. Fun!

Diaper Derby- Sponsored by Town and Country Credit Union the Diaper Derby & Toddler Trot invites all eager crawlers (12 months and younger, born after June 25, 2011) and trotters (24 months or younger, born after June 25, 2010) to race each other to their parents at the finish line. Pre-registration forms available online or register the day of the competition at the Fair.

Military Appreciation Day- The Fair says “Thank You” to military families by providing discounts during the Fair as well as . There are also free carnival rides 1 to 3 with Military ID.

Tractor Pedal Pull– Sign your kids up for the ultimate pedaling competition sponsored by Xpress Mart. Miniature tractors are weighed down and pedaled to victory in front of the KX Info Center. The kid in each age division that pulls the most weight takes home the title! Simply show up prior to event to register. Open to all children ages 4-12.

Xcel Energy Family Day-Bring the whole family to Xcel Energy Family Day. There will be fun and educating activities as organizations will have displays and hands-on entertainment. Check out the Birds of Prey Live and kid’s will be able to create their own edible bird feeders!

IMCA Modified and Stock Car Races -The IMCA Modified and Stock Car races will racing into the Grandstand at 7pm! This race, sponsored by Sleep Inn & Suites, will be included on the Grandstand Showpass with all seats being General Admission. Day of show passes are also available for this event.

NPRA Championship Bull Riding – The tougest MOsbrucker bulls take on the finest riders in the state, July 23 & 24. The bull riding action starts at 7pm in the All Seasons Arena. Adult admission is $14, and junior (7-12) admission is $6. Children ages 6 and under are free.

Terrific Tuesday – Receive half price gate admission with a Colca Cola product! Other 2-4-1 deals will be available throughout the Fairgrounds in the Commercial buildings and food stands, so keep on the lookout for those good deals!

  1. What hours are the gates open for rides, food and exhibits? What time does the fair close? Unable to find this info anywhere on the websites.
