Military Appreciation Day at the Fair

The North Dakota State Fair is showing their appreciation for the men, women and families of our armed forces during our Military Appreciation Day on Tuesday, July 24th 2012.  We have a whole day full of  family fun planned starting with the Military Day Appriciation Picnic.

This annual event is sponsored by the North Dakota Beef Commission is set to take place from 11:00am-1:00pm. This year the picnic is going to be taking place in a new location. The picnic has moved to the festival tent near the Commercial II building. It will feature a free lunch and games and activities for the children. A Military I.D. is needed for this event.

We will also be offering free carnival rides for Military Families from 1pm-3pm on the Midway. No bracelet is needed but Military personnel and their dependents will need to show their I.D. at each ride for this offer.

Other discounts for Military and their families include $1 off gate admission, $5 off an unlimited daily ride bracelet and 1/2 off NPRA Bull Riding tickets.
