Pre-sale tickets for The Black Eyed Peas benefit concert scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 3 at the North Dakota State Fair Grandstand go on sale today at 10am. Cost of a ticket is $100 plus ticket fees for either standing room or reserved seating. (Total cost $107.50)
Tickets can be purchased online at www.minotrising.com, at the ticket kiosk in the Herberger’s Court of Dakota Square Mall, at the 20th ave. and Dakota Square Mall Marketplace Foods locations or at the Minot Air Force Base Outdoor Recreation Center.
All concert proceeds will go to the Minot Area Community Foundation – Recovery Fund. Josh Duhamel, a Minot native and Hollywood actor, is the honorary chairman for the Minot Area Recovery Fund, which will help Minot and the surrounding area in its long-term flood recovery needs. Duhamel is married to Fergie, the lead singer of The Black Eyed Peas.

Here’s the timeline for the benefit concert:
– 6:00pm – Doors Open
– 7:30pm – Charlz Newman Band
– 8:15pm – Presentation from Josh Duhamel and Flood Video
– 9:00ish – The Black Eyed Peas! The concert will last at least 2 hours
The will also be a Party in the Plaza held on the Midway 12-8pm. Keep checking back on http://www.minotrising.com for more information regarding that event.
