The 2011 Minot Tourism Awards are now open for voting! In 2010, the Minot Convention and Visitors Bureau started the Minot Tourism Awards. These awards are chosen by the fans highlighting some of the best events, restaurants, accommodations and attractions that Minot, North Dakota has to offer and believe us there are tons! It may come as no surprise to you that last year the North Dakota State Fair took home the award as being Minot’s favorite event. We know that the only reason we won was thanks to the votes from all of you who love Minot and the North Dakota State Fair. It also helps that we bring the biggest names in entertainment to Minot, we feature the states largest carnival, the latest and greatest in agriculture, 4-H and FFA, livestock shows, free entertainment, nine days of Fair Food and tons of shopping!
