Just because the North Dakota State Fair is over doesn’t mean life stops on the Fairgrounds. The Fairgrounds are home to many annual events and special occasions each year. With so many support areas and services available, the North Dakota State Fair encourages the community to take advantage of all they have to offer.
A variety of visitors return to the Fairgrounds after the North Dakota State Fair to attend many unique events throughout summer and fall. Motor Magic was held on Labor Day weekend, just a month after the North Dakota State Fair’s conclusion. Shortly after the auto enthusiasts headed home, the North Dakota State Fair Center welcomed thousands of Scandinavians and their guests at the Norsk Hostfest, North America’s largest Scandinavian Festival. The Y’s Men’s Rodeo took place less than a week later for its 56th annual event and the entertainment will persist throughout the year. Camping is available during all the events on the Fairgrounds, with electrical services and comfort stations for visitors’ convenience.
The North Dakota State Fair Center has plenty of space to rent and can accommodate almost any occasion. Around 70 wedding receptions take place on the Fairgrounds each year. With staging, outside catering and numerous rooms to choose from it is easy to see why so many couples come to the Fairgrounds for their special day. 
Need somewhere to put those precious summer toys this winter? The North Dakota State Fair features many large buildings that are ideal for housing seasonal vehicles for winter storage. The buildings feature large doors that are perfect for cold storage of any size. The storage season begins in early September and runs into April with spaces starting at only $100!
