Motor Magic, the largest motor sports festival in the Upper Midwest, kicks off with the drag racing on the Magic City International Dragway on Friday, September 3rd at 6pm. The Magic City International Dragway is a 1/8 mile asphalt drag strip located on the East side of the North Dakota State Fairgrounds. The Friday night race will feature a Quick 16. The first 25 entries will be accepted to compete in this race. Cost is $70 to pre-register – $1,000 will be paid out to the first place car, $500 to second and $125 each to 3rd and 4th place. Call 701-833-8465 to get signed up. Additional races will also be held September 4, 5 and 6 at 10am each day. Classes include Top ET, Mod ET, Street ET, Motorcycle / Sled and Junior Dragsters. Admission into the races are $10.00 per day for adults and $5.00 for kids ages 6-14. Kids 6 & under are FREE!
