Chow down on some Cloverdale hot dogs at the first hot dog eating contest at the 2010 ND State Fair! The competition will be held on Friday July 30. There will be four divisions. A women’s and a men’s division ages 12 – 18 and a women’s and a men’s division ages 19 and up. There will be 3 winners in each division. The 1st place winner will receive $50, 2nd place $30, and 3rd place $20. Cloverdale will provide additional prizes. In addition, there will be a local celebrity round where they will compete to donate their winning to a charity of their choice.
Interested in being a competitor? Registration starts at 2:00pm on the Dakota Talent stage and the eating starts at 4:00pm. Come and watch your friends and family become a wiener.
