The Norsk Hostfest is returning for its 38th year at the North Dakota State Fair Center, September 29 – October 3, 2015.
Soon the smells of rommegrot , swedish meatballs, lutefisk and other Scandinavian delicacies will fill the air and you might even see a couple of characters from the hit movie Frozen along with a troll or two.
The festival features world-class entertainment, authentic Scandinavian cuisine, Scandinavian culture on display, handcrafted Norsk merchandise, plus a fine dining establishment lead by guest chefs. The festival, now entering into its 38th year, has grown into North America’s largest Scandinavian festival with tens of thousands of people attending from all over the world.
2015 will be another fantastic concert line up for the Great Hall of Vikings with performances by Ronnie Milsap, Martina McBride, The Band Perry and Jeff Foxworthy to name a few. Free entertainment will be included in general admission with performers such as Ricky Nelson Remembered, Swedes in the Weeds, Live Viking Combat, Skandi Ski Fantasy and many more.
