Come watch youngsters display their talents in junior rodeo events at the NDSF Show De O! There are 4 age divisions and 5 competitions for little buckaroos. Come cheer on the action!
2. Milking Contest
- When: 4pm
- Where: Expo Barn
Fairgoers of all ages can compete to see if they have what it takes to milk a dairy cow faster than the other “farm hands”! Participants will attempt to fill their bucket with the most milk in 30 seconds by milking our artificial cow. Pre-registration is encouraged or come watch the MOOOing good fun!
3. Mutton Bustin’
- When: 6:45pm-7:15pm (kicking off the Ranch Rodeo)
- Where: Arena 1
How long can they hold on? For the FIRST TIME this event will put little cowboys and cowgirls against some not so tough sheep for the ride of their lives! The event will be a pre-show to the popular Ranch Rodeo, so if you miss it Wednesday catch it Thursday night as well! Pre-registration is required.
4. Randy Houser
- When: 7:30pm
- Where: Grandstand
Houser’s past contains no shortage of achievement with multiple nominations for ACM and CMA Awards and songwriting credits for major names such as Trace Adkins, Justin Moore and Chris Young. This talented performer is part of the $85 Grandstand Showpass and is a must see!
5. Jr. Steer & Heifer Show
- When: 8pm
- Where: Arena 1
Junior livestock shows provide youth from across the state the opportunity to prove their livestock is supreme. Be sure to support our youth and check out the best steers and heifers in the state.
