1. State Parade

Don’t miss the largest parade in North Dakota! The parade starts on the corner of Broadway and Burdick Expressway and runs all the way to the Fairgrounds!
2. Run The Route
- When: 8:45am
- Where: Beginning at Our Redeemers Church
Run to the Fair! Enter the Run the Route organized by Mile One Running Shop! Two race divisions are offered: a 5K run and 1 mile run/walk. All ages are encouraged to participate and prizes will be awarded to the top male and female finishers!
3. Pony Pull
- When: 3pm
- Where: Arena 1
Watch these small ponies pull! Two ponies make up each team and their combined weight determines if they will compete in the light weight or heavy weight class. Cash prizes are awarded to the top 9 teams, sponsored by IRET.
4. FFA Foundation Live Auction
- When: 2pm
- Where: State Fair Atrium
You won’t want to miss the FFA Foundation Live Auction! There will be loads of amazing items, including a pair of John Mellencamp and Randy Houser tickets! Plus, all proceeds will support the ND FFA!
5. John Mellencamp
- When: 7:30pm
- Where: Grandstand
John Mellencamp fell in love with music at an early age and was gigging in local bars until his professional music career began in 1976 with his first album! By 2008, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame by Billy Joel. It’s not too late to purchase a ticket for $65 to watch the accomplished and talented singer. It is sure to be a good time!
