With such a great impact made in 2013, the North Dakota State Fair is hosting its 2nd annual canned food drive during the Fair! With the help of 910 KCJB, on Monday, July 21, State Fair staff are asking all patrons to help in their contribution to the Great Plains Food Bank by donating a non-perishable food item at the admission gates. But the giving doesn’t stop there….
We teamed up with the Minot Area Community Foundation with a common goal:
RAISE $10,000 FOR LOCAL FOOD BANKS!
Every dollar The North Dakota State Fair raises now through July 21, the Minot Area Community Foundation will match.
The problem of hunger is solvable. But we can’t do it alone!
Starting Now:
Cash and Checks addressed to the “Great Plains Food Bank” can be brought or mailed to the ND State Fair Office.
On July 21:
Cash and Checks addressed to the “Great Plains Food Bank” can be brought to any entrance gate.
Canned food donations and monetary donations will be distributed by the Great Plains Food Bank throughout local food pantries. Let’s join forces to create a hunger free community!
