Our company was started by our founder Michelle Tait, with a very small investment and few people. Michelle and her cousin Maranda Fettig had been scrapbooking in a little “shack” in Michelle’s backyard for years. With a passion for working with photography these two put together several custom scrapbooks for family and friends. As word spread, the need for a more convenient location grew. The Memory Shack was born! They opened up their store on a dime and a shoestring. They haven’t looked back since.
Everyone spends so much time taking photos that half of the time they miss the important event because they are so busy behind the lens of the camera.
Michelle and Maranda both believe it is so important to get those memories in your hands in a custom scrapbook they can put together for you. We have grown since the first day we opened because of our sincere commitment, dedication and hard work which ensured that we were able to fully satisfy our customers with our high quality products & services. At The Memory Shack we continue to work hard so that we can grow to be a much bigger company. We have added several product lines to assist with our customer’s retail needs. Alphabet photography can be found in many forms in The Memory Shack. Frame your name or yes we even have several series of scrapbook stickers in our very own alphabet photography. You can also find handmade jewelry made from recycled bottle caps. All so that we can serve more & more customers and also to become a very respectable company in the society. We have crossed many mile stones in our journey. It is just not the awards & the financial figures that we consider as our mile stones, but it is the customers, who upon looking at the album we created for them, had a smile come to their face… or a tear in their eye. We are so proud to put those memories in your hands, instead of those photos sitting in a closet, or on your computer or camera.
Our first customer is still one of our very best customers and it has been the same with all our customers!
