UND Day – Join us under the festival tent with The University of North Dakota. Meet some of your favorite UND athletes during autograph session, take pictures with the team trophies, win awesome prizes and even capture moments of little tikes attending sports clinics taught by the student athletes.
4-H Film Festival – 4-H members from across ND have been invited to submit a short film for the 2012 ND 4-H Film Festival. Films will be judged and the public is invited to view the top three films in each category and select the People’s Choice Award from these films. Enjoy popcorn and be entertained in air conditioning.
Amateur Cake Decorating Contest – Seven of North Dakota’s Finest Cake Decorators will be competing to see who the top decorator of North Dakota is. You won’t want to miss this Live competition!
Redneck Relay Race – Its new, its fast, its furious, its… Redneck? North Country Mercantile is sponsoring the first ever Redneck Relay Race! Teams of two battle it out using brains and strength to overcome obstacles including toilet paper, whipped cream, and watermelons covered with Crisco.
Horse Pull – The Horse Pull is a traditional Fair favorite, always drawing large crowds. Show up early to save your seat to watch large draft horse teams, bred for their strength and agility,
compete to see who can pull the heaviest load. Cash prizes are awarded to the top 9 teams!
Luke Bryan will round out the night starting at 8pm in the Grandstand. Tickets are available on the Grandstand Showpass and can be purchased at the Grandstand.
