  1. I was so excited for the line up at the 2011 State Fair and so disappointed that it didn’t happen. Toby Keith, Nitty Gritty, Charlie Daniels Band would be great if you could book them again.

  2. I would LOVE to see Garth Brooks or Martina McBride perform. I have never been to a concert at the NDSF, but would DEFINITELY go to one of those.
Thank you for asking the public what they want – nice touch.

  3. I would love to see Jake Owen,Blake shelton,Miranda Lambert, billy currington,or Sara Evans perform at the 2012 state fair! Please and thank you! Hope you can work some magic

  4. I was pumped for Toby Keith and Lady Antebellum, so definitely try to get them back. Zac Brown Band and Carrie Underwood for country, and anyone BUT Kid Rock. He is horrible live.

  5. Five Finger Death Punch, Shinedown, Stone Sour…. some rock bands would be nice for a change! Nickelback and Theory of a Deadman were GREAT!!

  6. I think we could use more rock bands. Weezer would be fantastic. Foster the people. Incubus. Taking back sunday. Blink 182. Fun upbeat bands that still rock out and play amazing live. Or even up and coming bands on the verge of making it big, like Jump into the gospel.

  7. I would love to see my all-time favorite country band The Tractors, if they’re still together! My aunt and uncle got to see them in Jamestown! I hope we can get Tracy Lawrence back, and Toby Keith too! Love them all!

  8. We need to get a dance revolution going here too! I would love to see Above & Beyond up here in ND! I’m a huge techno trance fanatic!

  9. I would love to see Toby Keith, Brad Paisley and Lady A for country. Nickelback, Maroon 5 or Journey for rock.

  10. Country: Luke Bryan, Brantley Gilbert, Blake Shelton, Josh Turner, Billy Currington, Eric Church

Rock: Theory of a Deadman, Alter Bridge, Three Days Grace, Skillet

Pop: Foo Fighters, Foster the People, Fall Out Boy, All American Rejects, The Script

  11. Rush, Jason Aldean, Brad Paisley, Taddy Porter, Foo Fighters, Blake Shelton, Huey Lewis and the News, Keith Urban, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Jonny Lang, Rascal Flatts. For starters anyway.

  12. RUSH!

RUSH is an incredibly well respected band that has been around for 30 years and has sold tens of millions of albums, and their popularity is well documented. They played the MN state fair last year, and it sold out, I bought my tickets from a scalper for $130 and many others did too. Demand was that high! People from Montana, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Minnesota would come to see this band!

  13. Bon Jovi, Poison, Def Leppard, Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood, Huey Lewis & the News, KATY PERRY!, 3 Doors Down, Avenge Sevenfold, Seether, Maroon 5, Theory of a Deadmine, Bullet for My Valentine.
