Motor Magic Car Auction Raises Funds for Community

The Motor Magic Classic Car Auction, scheduled for Sunday, September 4th at 12:01 pm in the State Fair Center on the North Dakota State Fairgrounds, will help raise funds for the Souris Valley United Way, The Minot Area Community Foundation’s Area Flood Recovery Fund and for employees of Wholesale Supply Company who are flood victims.

A 1932 Ford Roadster “High Boy” that features a 350 / 350 Automatic Transmission will be auctioned off with proceeds above the reserve being donated to the Minot Area Community Foundation’s Flood Recovery Fund.  This vehicle has a 32 Ford Grill, 50 Impala Steering Wheel, Tuck-n-roll Interior, a LeBaron Boney Canvas Top and many more custom features.

A Minot woman has pledged the proceeds of her car to be donated to flood victims of an area business. The car is a 1985 Cadillac Fleetwood which is a fully loaded black beauty with wire wheels. This car is being sold “As Is” at NO RESERVE. All proceeds from this vehicle will be directly donated to flood victims who are employed at Wholesale Supply Company in Minot with the highest bidder owning the car.

The 2nd Annual Souris Valley United Way Custom Pedal Car Auction will take place during the Motor Magic Classic Car Auction viewing on Saturday, September 3. The pedal cars have been customized by area body shops and will be displayed and auctioned off at 4 pm on Saturday, Sept 3. All proceeds from the pedal car auction will be donated directly to the Souris Valley United Way to be included in their 2011 campaign.

Admission to the North Dakota State Fairgrounds is free as is admission into the Classic Car Auction. RV parking with access to electricity is $20 a night and is available on a first come first serve basis. RV parking without electricity is free.
