Actor Josh Duhamel put a call out to his fans and friends through Facebook and Twitter this week to purchase Minot Rising Black Eyed Peas benefit concert tickets to donate to flood victims in Minot. The tickets can be purchased through the Minot Rising website and will be tracked separately from other ticket sales.
All concert proceeds will go to the Minot Area Community Foundation Recovery Fund. Duhamel, a Minot native and Hollywood actor, is the honorary chairman for the Minot Area Recovery Fund, which is helping Minot and the surrounding area in its long-term flood recovery needs. Duhamel is married to Fergie, the lead singer of The Black Eyed Peas.
Reserved seating is sold out, so all ticket purchases are standing room only at this time. The show is expected to sell out, and those considering attending are encouraged to buy their tickets now rather than waiting until the day of the show.
Tickets, along with Minot Rising/Black Eyed Peas concert t-shirts, can be purchased online through the Minot Rising website Tickets also can be purchased in Minot at Minot Air Force Base Outdoor Recreation Center, Marketplace Foods on 20th Ave, Marketplace Foods at the Dakota Square Mall and at the ticketing kiosk in the Herberger’s Court of the Dakota Square Mall.
T-shirts purchased in advance can be picked up Tuesday, Aug. 30 at the Minot Convention and Visitors Bureau. You will need your printed confirmation to claim your t-shirt.
