They’re everywhere at the State Fair! That would be the members of 4-H and FFA, who start preparing for their events long before the Fair begins. And these youngsters, which the Fair considers its heart, compete and display their skills and talents in so many areas. The youngsters in FFA and 4-H are important parts of many events at the Fair. Fairgoers are encouraged to stop in and check out all of their hard work!
Here’s a few must see 4-H & FFA Events:
– 4-H Ag Experience Geocaching Hunt, July 23, 24, 25, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., starting at the 4-H office in the State Fair Center
– Shows for poultry, cattle, horses, swine, rabbits and dairy and meat goat
– 4-H Clothing Revue, July 25, 3 p.m., Upper Atrium at SFC
– Horticulture displays in the State Fair Center and lower lobby
– Educational, crafts, art and other exhibits are showcased in the State Fair Center’s FFA Hall & Magic Place and are sponsored by SunPrairie Grain.
