One of our favorite events, the Kid’s Show De O, is back for another year at the North Dakota State Fair and it’s time to get your child signed up! The Kid’s Show De O will take place on Wednesday, July 27th, at 1:30 PM in the Heritage Hall of the State Fair Center.
Brand new for this year, youngsters 5 and under have their very own age division! They can compete in the Stick Horse Race and Boot Race. There is a 15 child limit for this age division, so make sure to get them signed up early. In the event that we have more participants than openings, we will go on the lottery system and draw contestants from a hat.
The other age divisions are 6-8 years, 9-12 years, and 13 to 16 years. Each division has five events, so there is something for every kid out there! Contestants can compete in Goat Tying, Jack Roping, Keyhole, Barrel Racing, and Poles.
We have awesome prizes to give away! Prizes will be given to 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place winners in each age division and 2011 Show De O Champion Belt Buckles will be given to the All Around Champions!
Fill out our Show De O Registration Form and send it to our office by Wednesday, July 6th.
