The North Dakota State Fair is pleased to be named a  runner-up  for the NDYP Best Place to Intern.

North Dakota Young Professionals (NDYP) promotes businesses in the state that are willing to provide positive jobs and experiences for young professionals.

“The North Dakota Young Professionals Network finds it important to recognize businesses that provide high quality internships to budding professionals,” says Jen Dobrowski, NDYP Chair. “The NDYP Best Place to Intern Award is a reflection of the hands-on creativity and innovation businesses provide throughout a student’s internship.”

The North Dakota State Fair takes great pride in their interns. Each year we hire two marketing / communications interns to join the State Fair marketing team.

“Our marketing internships aren’t your every day internship,” states Shannon Pearson, NDSF Marketing Director.  “Each intern receives a list of projects and events that they are responsible for, they are then given the freedom to complete the projects while coming up with new events and ideas for the 2011 Fair. ” This is exactly what make the NDSF stand out as a great place to intern. The interns are exposed to the ins and outs of event planning while assisting the marketing team with planning and promotion of the 2011 North Dakota State Fair.
